For the first Inox Breakfast Networking event of 2020 on January 31st our guest presenter will be Chris Whitehead who will be talking about Compassionate Leadership, its origins, benefits & current trajectory. Chris will consider how we can cultivate compassion in ourselves and in the workplace & will lead on an interactive session which will introduce the pivotal role of culture.

Chris is a coach, podcaster & writer; originally from Eastwood in Rotherham his corporate career has taken in design engineering, academia, contracting, project investment, programme management & sustainability.

He has held management positions & directorships in several successful multinational businesses and three SMEs. At present, he runs a Sheffield-based coaching network, Damflask Consulting, and hosts the podcast “The Compassionate Leadership Interview”, which has recently featured Hugh Facey OBE, Tony Stacey of SYHA and Jodie Hill of Thrive Law. He is the author of the book “Compassionate Leadership”, which is available at compassionate-leadership.co.uk and on Amazon.

Chris has a first-class honours degree from Trinity College Cambridge and an MBA from The University of Sheffield. He has a Postgraduate Certificate in coaching and mentoring from Sheffield Hallam University and is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council as a Senior Practitioner. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
