Cyrus Todiwala OBE is a regular guest chef on BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and the co-host of television series The Incredible Spice Men as well as a Fellow of the Master Chefs of Great Britain and will be working with our own Master Chef Joe Berry.  The evening includes a special set menu with interesting and entertaining stories about the history of Goan and Portuguese Cuisine.

Please note: we will require a £10 deposit per person when you book your ticket, which will be deducted from your bill on the evening of the event. Individual ticket holders and small groups will be seated with others on tables of 6 or 8 (larger groups can be accommodated).

Turkey thigh simmered in wine and garlic with spices, pulled apart in shreds, filled in pastry and fried

Sausage roll of British duroc with hot chorizo on a bed of tamarind and dates chutney

Bolinhas de pato com arroz, castanhas et ameixa
Cake of confit of duck leg in spices blended with rice, prunes and chestnuts

Torta de batata et espinafre
Baked omelette of sliced potato with spinach, spring onion, green chillies and coriander

Espetada de frango cafreal
Chicken marinated in green masala and grilled

Arroz de cordeiro piquante com coco et alho
Rice cooked Goan style with diced lamb in red masala and grated coconut
